Polypropylene (PP) Contaminated Granules are recycled plastic materials derived from post-industrial or post-consumer polypropylene waste that may contain a certain level of impurities such as dust, dirt, paper, or other polymer contamination. These granules are an economical raw material option for manufacturers who require cost-effective PP feedstock for non-critical or secondary applications.

Despite being categorized as “contaminated,” these granules retain a significant portion of polypropylene’s inherent mechanical and chemical properties, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial uses where high purity or appearance is not essential.

Our Quality Assurance and Shipping Process

Material Guarantee We assure you that the material will meet the specifications of the loading pictures and the sample provided prior to shipment. Customer satisfaction and transparency are our top priorities.

Our Step-by-Step Process

  1. Quality Inspection:
    • Before finalizing the shipment, our Quality Control (QC) team conducts a thorough inspection of the material to ensure it meets the agreed-upon standards.
    • Detailed videos and pictures of the material are captured during the inspection and shared with the customer for approval.
  2. Container Booking:
    • Once the customer approves the material, a container is booked on the next available vessel to ensure prompt delivery.
    • The booking details, including the shipping schedule, are shared with the customer for tracking purposes.
  3. Loading and Documentation:
    • Material condition
    • Loading procedure
    • Container and seal numbers
    • The material is carefully loaded into the container.
    • During loading, we document the entire process with pictures and videos, capturing essential details such as:
    • These visuals, along with the draft of the Bill of Lading (BL), are shared with the customer for verification.
  4. BL Draft Confirmation:
    • The customer reviews and confirms the BL draft.
    • Based on the confirmation, the Original Bill of Lading (OBL) is issued.
    • A copy of the OBL is then shared with the customer.

Technical Characteristics:

  • Material Type: Polypropylene (PP)

  • Form: Reprocessed / Recycled Granules

  • Color: Mixed or Natural (depending on source material)

  • Contamination Level: May contain traces of other polymers (PE, PVC, etc.), dust, or moisture

  • Melt Flow Index (MFI): Typically ranges from 2 – 10 g/10min (230°C / 2.16kg) (may vary by batch)

  • Density: Approximately 0.90 – 0.92 g/cm³

  • Odor: Mild recycled plastic odor

  • Moisture Content: ≤ 1%

Applications:

PP Contaminated Granules are ideal for use in manufacturing applications that do not require high-grade virgin resin. Common uses include:

  • Injection molded non-critical components

  • Plastic pallets, crates, and containers

  • Automotive inner parts and underbody components

  • Flower pots, buckets, and household utility items

  • Construction sheets and profiles

  • Industrial packaging and intermediate products

Advantages:

  • Cost-effective alternative to virgin PP resin

  • Environmentally friendly and sustainable — supports recycling and circular economy

  • Reduces raw material costs in high-volume, low-specification production

  • Available in bulk quantities for industrial use
