- 2011
Al Bait Al Akhdar Plastics is born
Al Bait Al Akhdar Plastics was born in the UAE with one mission: turning the country's plastic waste into reusable pellets.

300+ MT recycled
By 2013 we were recycling more than 300 MT.
- 2014
Best Recycling Company in the UAE
Our recycling work was recognised with the award for the Best Recycling Company in the UAE.
- 2016
Building a supply chain
When demand for recycled LDPE fell in the UAE, we turned to international markets, where our own volumes were a drop in the ocean. Feedstock limited how much more we could recycle, so we began buying pellets from other recyclers, first in the UAE, then across the Middle East. That was the start of our international supply chain.
- 2018
Prime and off grade
We started trading off grade and prime materials in small volumes. By 2018 they were 80% of our business.
- 2019
UK office
We opened our UK office to buy more from Europe, attend loadings and build relationships with suppliers.
- 2023
USA, and Polymer in Stock
We opened the USA as a supply market and launched Polymer in Stock, which took us into new markets such as Vietnam, Turkey and Malaysia.

Four offices, one team
Head office in the UAE, procurement in London, local sales in Karachi and Delhi, all working from one live system of stock, buyers and suppliers.
