PET and PETG Mixed Granules are a blended recycled material composed of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified (PETG) in granule form. This material combines the strength, clarity, and chemical resistance of PET with the improved toughness, flexibility, and processability of PETG. These granules are carefully collected, cleaned, and processed from post-consumer or post-industrial waste, making them a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution for manufacturers producing extruded, molded, or thermoformed products.

Our Quality Assurance and Shipping Process

Material Guarantee We assure you that the material will meet the specifications of the loading pictures and the sample provided prior to shipment. Customer satisfaction and transparency are our top priorities.

Our Step-by-Step Process

  1. Quality Inspection:
    • Before finalizing the shipment, our Quality Control (QC) team conducts a thorough inspection of the material to ensure it meets the agreed-upon standards.
    • Detailed videos and pictures of the material are captured during the inspection and shared with the customer for approval.
  2. Container Booking:
    • Once the customer approves the material, a container is booked on the next available vessel to ensure prompt delivery.
    • The booking details, including the shipping schedule, are shared with the customer for tracking purposes.
  3. Loading and Documentation:
    • The material is carefully loaded into the container.
    • During loading, we document the entire process with pictures and videos, capturing essential details such as:
      • Material condition
      • Loading procedure
      • Container and seal numbers
    • These visuals, along with the draft of the Bill of Lading (BL), are shared with the customer for verification.
  4. BL Draft Confirmation:
    • The customer reviews and confirms the BL draft.
    • Based on the confirmation, the Original Bill of Lading (OBL) is issued.
    • A copy of the OBL is then shared with the customer.

  • Form: Granules / pellets

  • Color: Clear, natural, or mixed depending on source material

  • Density: ~1.27 – 1.33 g/cm³

  • Melt Flow Index (MFI): ~6 – 20 g/10 min (varies by batch)

  • Mechanical Properties:

    • High impact strength and toughness (from PETG)

    • Good rigidity and dimensional stability (from PET)

    • Excellent clarity and optical properties

  • Thermal Properties: Suitable for processing temperatures ~250–280°C

  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to acids, oils, and alcohols; moderate resistance to alkalis

  • Processing: Ideal for extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, and compounding

Applications:

PET and PETG Mixed Granules are versatile and widely used in industries where clarity, durability, and cost efficiency are important:

  • Packaging: Blister packs, clamshells, food containers, and bottles

  • Medical & laboratory products: Trays, diagnostic components, and protective packaging

  • Displays & signage: Transparent panels, retail fixtures, and POS displays

  • Industrial applications: Protective covers, machine guards, and housings

  • 3D printing filaments: Base material for producing PETG filament

  • Blending & compounding: Can be mixed with virgin PET or PETG to optimize performance and cost

Advantages:

  • Eco-friendly: Supports recycling of PET and PETG waste

  • Cost-effective: Lower-cost alternative to virgin PET or PETG granules

  • Durable & tough: Combines the rigidity of PET with the impact resistance of PETG

  • Optically clear: Maintains transparency for aesthetic and functional applications

  • Versatile processing: Compatible with extrusion, injection molding, and thermoforming
